Club membership is available to anyone. Access to the service will be granted from the 31 st day after the payment of the membership fee. The annual membership is automatically extended yearly with renewable payment, unless the member terminates the membership. Examples of calculating the membership discount in case of a transport worth of 13 500 EUR.
Example 1.
If the full amount is paid by the family (private individuals) the price of the aeromedical transport can be reduced to 11 880 EUR. This is how much it will cost your family or other cost payer to transport the patient by air ambulance, which means that the cost of transport will be 1 620 EUR less if you have SkyCU membership.
Example 2.
If your insurance covers only a certain amount of the air ambulance transport’s costs, for example up to maximum 10 000 EUR you will only have to pay 1 880 EUR instead of the 3 500 EUR. (Only the amount above 10 000 EUR has to be paid.) This means that the aeromedical transport will cost you 1 620 EUR less. In case of occasional insurance coverage, individual calculation of your deductible will be provided knowing the total costs.
